Gaza’s Health Ministry has reported that three more adults have died from famine and malnutrition in the enclave over the past 24 hours. The announcement, carried by Al Jazeera, highlights the deepening humanitarian emergency in the war-battered territory.

According to the ministry, the latest cases raise the total number of hunger-related deaths in Gaza to 303 people, including 117 children. Officials warned that these figures are likely to rise further as aid restrictions continue to prevent adequate supplies of food and medicine from reaching the population.

Humanitarian agencies, including the United Nations and the World Health Organization, have issued repeated warnings that Gaza is experiencing catastrophic food insecurity. Hundreds of thousands of people, particularly children, are at risk of acute malnutrition, with many families forced to survive on animal feed, wild plants, and unsafe water.

The ministry described the current situation as a “famine emergency” and called on the international community to take urgent steps to guarantee safe and unrestricted humanitarian access. Aid deliveries remain sporadic and limited, with convoys often delayed, blocked, or attacked before reaching those in need.

Health officials cautioned that unless immediate action is taken to restore regular food and medical supplies, the number of deaths from starvation in Gaza will continue to rise sharply in the coming weeks.
