Trump Predicts Gaza Deal Soon After Warning Hamas

US President Donald Trump has suggested that a deal to resolve the hostage crisis in Gaza may be imminent, following his stern ultimatum to Hamas. Speaking to reporters after returning to Washington from a brief trip to New York, Trump said he had been actively engaged on the issue during his flight.

“We’re working on a solution that may be very good,” Trump remarked, declining to share specifics but adding: “You’ll be hearing about it pretty soon. We’re trying to get it ended, get the hostages back.” His comments signal that Washington may be pushing for a breakthrough in negotiations amid growing international concern over the plight of civilians and captives in the conflict.

A day earlier, Trump took a harder line against Hamas, issuing what he called his “last warning.” Writing on his Truth Social platform, the president claimed Israel had already agreed to his terms, while pressing the Palestinian group to follow suit. “The Israelis have accepted my terms. It is time for Hamas to accept as well,” he posted. “I have warned Hamas about the consequences of not accepting. This is my last warning, there will not be another one!”

The president’s remarks underline his dual approach of pressure and negotiation, signaling both the threat of consequences and the possibility of a deal. While Trump has not yet disclosed details of the proposed agreement, the issue has become a focal point of his administration’s Middle East policy, with the release of hostages framed as a top priority.
