ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates on Tuesday dismissed media reports concerning the status of Iranian nationals in the country, calling them inaccurate.
The UAE government reaffirmed its commitment to the safety and protection of all residents. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Iranian community, which has lived in the UAE for decades, continues to be a valued part of society.
Officials highlighted the community’s contributions to the nation’s diversity and openness.The ministry also emphasized that the UAE is home to over 200 nationalities, reflecting the country’s long-standing policy of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
In response to recent claims, authorities described reports about the residency status of Iranian nationals as unfounded.Officials further stressed that the UAE’s legal and institutional frameworks are designed to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents. The statement reaffirmed the country’s dedication to the rule of law and maintaining a stable, secure environment while protecting the rights of every community.
