Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has declared that the country’s “heroic people” are the definitive victors in the third imposed war, praising their resilience and unity in the face of prolonged conflict.
In a written message, he emphasized that despite immense pressure, Iranians transformed grief and hardship into strength and resistance, ultimately shaping the outcome of the war in their favor.
He noted that the war, which followed aggression by the United States and Israel, tested the nation on multiple fronts but also demonstrated the power of public participation.
According to him, the presence and voice of the people played a decisive role, turning the conflict into what he described as a national triumph. The leader stressed that even as negotiations move forward, the role of the public remains critical.
He urged citizens to stay engaged, stating that mass movements and public determination can influence political outcomes just as they do on the battlefield. He also warned that Iran will continue to defend its rights and will not retreat under pressure.
Addressing regional countries, he signaled that Tehran intends to seek compensation for damages suffered during the war, including the loss of lives. Furthermore, the statement indicated that Iran is entering a new strategic phase, particularly regarding the management of key areas such as the Strait of Hormuz, highlighting that the country’s position remains strong despite ongoing tensions.
