ISLAMABAD: A diplomatic source in Islamabad has rejected ongoing speculation suggesting that an Iranian advance delegation has reached the federal capital. The source clearly stated that no preliminary team from Tehran has arrived in Islamabad.

Responding to reports about possible negotiations or the presence of an Iranian sub-delegation in Pakistan, the source emphasized that such claims are unfounded. There has been no official or unofficial information confirming the presence of any Iranian delegation in Islamabad.

According to Iran’s state news agency IRNA, the diplomatic source reiterated that there is no indication of any talks currently taking place in Islamabad involving an Iranian delegation. The source further noted that security considerations are always given top priority when dispatching any delegation to Pakistan.
